Zur app terms of use and privacy policy.

Terms of use

If you install Zur mobile application, then we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right use the mobile application on wireless electronic devices owned or controlled by you, and to access and use the mobile application on such devices strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of this mobile application license contained in these Terms of Use.

You shall not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or decrypt the application.
  • Make any modification, adaptation, improvement, enhancement, translation, or derivative work from the application.
  • Violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations in connection with your access or use of the application.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) posted by us or the licensors of the application.
  • Use the application for any revenue generating endeavor, commercial enterprise, or other purpose for which it is not designed or intended.
  • Make the application available over a network or other environment permitting access or use by multiple devices or users at the same time.
  • Use the application for creating a product, service, or software that is, directly or indirectly, competitive with or in any way a substitute for the application.
  • Use the application to send automated queries to any website or to send any unsolicited commercial e-mail.
  • Use any proprietary information or any of our interfaces or our other intellectual property in the design, development, manufacture, licensing, or distribution of any applications, accessories, or devices for use with the application.

Disclaimers

  • The Zur service is provided on an ‘as is’ basis only.
  • We try to ensure that information is on the Zur app is correct, but we do not promise it is accurate or complete. We may make changes to the material on the app or to the functionality at any time without notice. The material on the app may be out of date, and we make no commitment to update that material.
  • Allergy, dietary and other menu information:

    Menus are managed by the shops. If you have, or someone you are ordering for has, a concern about food allergies, intolerances or other dietary preferences, you should always contact the shop directly before placing your order. Please do not use the "provide special instructions or requirements for your order" field for your food allergies or intolerances, please contact the shop directly.

    Shop actions and omissions: The legal contract for the supply and purchase of products is between you and the shop that you place your order with. We have no control over the actions or omissions of any shops. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge and accept the following by using the App:

  • We do not give any undertaking that the products ordered from any shops through the App will be of satisfactory quality or suitable for your purpose and we disclaim any such warranties.
  • Collections times provided by the shops are only estimates. Neither we nor the shops guarantee that orders will be available for collection within the estimated times.
  • We do not guarantee that shops will accept and fulfil all orders, and shops have the discretion to reject orders at any time because they are too busy, if you fail to provide proof of age for purchases of alcohol, cigarettes or other smoking products when required, due to weather conditions or for any other reason.
  • The foregoing disclaimers do not affect your statutory rights against any shop.
  • If you have any concerns or questions about the products provided by the shops listed in Zur system, we kindly ask you to check all details with the shops directly.

    Privacy policy

    Data we collect

    • The data we gather includes your e-mail, full name or phone number, required to create an account.
    • Zur application can request access to your device camera or photo gallery for in-app features.
    • We will collect Information about you when you interact with us such as when you report a problem, contact or communicate with us.
    • Zur does not access your contacts, device ID, call information, bluetooth connection information or Wi-Fi connection information for in-app features.
    • Zur does not store your payment details, like card details, billing address etc. We store only orders history for in-app features.
    • Zur and/or your device may provide options for you to control the use and/or sharing of precise device location data.

    How We Use the Information We Collect

  • Deliver Zur to you and ensure optimal functionality and operation.
  • Provide you with customer support.
  • Enforce our term, conditions and policies and communicate all updates and changes with you.
  • When we collect your precise geolocation data via Global Positioning System (GPS) networks, we do so to provide you with our location-related app features.
  • Disclosure

    We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of use.

    Third-Party Services

    We allow third parties to collect and use your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

    Third-party service providers, such as payment gateway (Stripe™) have their own privacy policies. We recommend that you read their privacy policies.

    When you click links and if they direct you to third-party sites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

    Cookies, Identifiers and Data Analysis

    Zur is a mobile-only app and cannot be used in a standard web bser, therefore does not use website cookies.

    When you use the Zur application, we may use the Device name to facilitate access and to help us recognize you across different Zur accounts.

    How We Protect Your Information and Privacy

    The security and confidentiality of your Information is very important to us, so we take security measures, including physical, electronic and procedural measures, to help safeguard your information from unauthorized access and disclosure.

    We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Information against the unauthorized access, destruction or alteration of your information.

    All data is transmitted securely using HTTPs protocol.

    Please know that, despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. So, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your transmissions to us and of your Personal Information that we store.

    Zur does not sell your personal information to third parties, or publicly disclose any personal or sensitive data.

    Zur complies with all EU privacy, data security, and data protection laws, directives, regulations, and rules.

    Zur accesses, uses and processes EU Personal Information for purposes consistent with the consent obtained from the individual to whom the EU Personal Information relates.

    Information Relating to Minors

    All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the app.

    Zur is not directed to children under the age of 13. If we become aware that Information has been collected from a person under the age of 13, we will delete this Information and terminate the person's account as quickly as possible. If you believe that we may have Information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us at info@zur.ie and we will promptly delete that Information.

    Where We Store Your Information

    The Information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of your country and the European Economic Area ("EEA") and, in particular, the US, which may have different or less protective privacy laws than those in your country. The Information may also be processed by any service providers appointed by us who operate outside the EEA and their staff, and/or our own staff based outside of the EEA. By submitting or permitting us to collect your Information, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing outside of the EEA. Information transferred will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

    How Long We Store Your Information

    We will keep your Information for as long as is necessary to provide you with Zur application access and services and for us to comply with our obligations under this Privacy Policy and by law. We may retain data after you cease using the Zur application, for instance, for operational, auditing, content or to analyze and improve the way we provide our services.

    Changes to the Privacy Policy

    We may change how we collect and then use Personal Information at any time and without prior notice, at our sole discretion.

    We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to the Privacy Policy, we will notify you either by posting the changed Privacy Policy on the Platform or by sending an email to you. We will also update the “Last Updated Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we let you know of changes through an email communication, then the date on which we send the email will be deemed to be the date of your receipt of that email.

    It’s important that you review the changed Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to agree to the changed Privacy Policy, then we will not be able to continue providing the Zur Application to you, and your only option will be to stop accessing the application and deactivate your Zur account.

    Data Deletion

    Uninstallation and removal methods vary depending on your device. To uninstall and remove the Zur application, please use the application manager provided with your device or consult your device manual or online instructions provided by the device provider for reference.

    Access to and Choices Regarding Your Information:

  • You have the right to access Information held about you or require it to be modified (if inaccurate) or deleted. Your right of access can be exercised by contacting us using the details set out below.
  • We endeavor to keep your information accurate, complete and up to date. If your Personal Information that we hold is inaccurate, please let us know and we will make the necessary amendments, erase or block the relevant information and notify you of your request that the relevant action has been taken.
  • You may also request the erasure of your personal data if you believe we are otherwise in breach of relevant data protection legislation. All requests should be addressed to info@zur.ie. There is no charge for making such a request.
